Meet Sarah Wang

Sarah Wang - Acupuncturist

Ladera Family & Sports Chiropractic

Ms Yan Wang (Sarah) grew up in China and moved to the US after graduating from college. She moved to Southern California in 2001 and started her family here. She has studied Chinese medicine for over a decade, including extended study with Dr Lin of Hongyi Tang and studied with other notable physicians in Beijing for more than six years. She has seen many diseases and widely recognized them. She also studied special acupuncture methods, such as abdominal acupuncture painless therapy, with professors from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. She holds a Master degree of Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine from South Baylo University and Acupuncture license in California.

Using Acupuncture and Herbs combined, she specializes in the treatment of various joint pain, elderly back and leg pain, rheumatoid arthritis, gouty arthritis.
Internal Medicine: hyperlipidemia, vertigo, partial headache, gastrointestinal disease, hepatobiliary disease, cough and asthma, proteinuria, hematuria and cerebral thrombosis sequelae recovery treatment etc.
Gynecology: dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, acute, chronic pelvic inflammation, infertility
Pediatrics: upper respiratory tract infections, indigestion, anorexia.

Sarah believes that acupuncture needling makes ‘yang’ and ‘yin’ energy balanced, and boost up Qi and blood circulation in our bodies. Therefore many kinds of pain or malfunction from inner energy imbalance or bad circulation can be cured or contained with ancient wisdom – traditional Chinese medicine, which still proves to be very powerful and effective, especially for functionality adjustment.

Sarah lives in Costa Mesa with her husband and 2 boys in college. She enjoys reading classical books, poems and listening to ancient instruments when she is free. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, shopping for groceries, gardening, playing TaiChi, taking a walk, meditation, and going back to nature. She would love to move to Ladera Ranch one day after her husband retires.
